A soft velvet-look top hat in olive green, with a wide orange band wound round the crown and a white 10/6 card fixed to the side. It is the finishing piece for a Mad Hatter from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, and a whole costume on its own if you are short of time.

• Material: olive green velvet-look fabric over a light foam backing that helps the hat hold its shape, with wire around the outer edge of the brim (supplier spec)
• Size: one size to fit most adults. The supplier lists 35cm outer diameter, 19cm overall height and a 62cm inner circumference
• Detail: orange fabric band gathered around the base of the tall crown with a raw top edge, and a white felt card marked 10/6 attached to the front
• Shape: tall soft crown above a wide flat brim, green on the upper side and dark underneath. The soft build lets the crown lean rather than stand rigid
• Includes: the hat only
• Not included: the orange curly wig, face makeup, striped bow tie, tartan waistcoat, shirt and checked jacket worn by the model in the photo. Every one of those is a separate product
