Oktoberfest 2026 in Perth
Oktoberfest 2026 kicks off in Munich on 19 September and runs to 4 October, and Perth keeps the party going all month.
Oktoberfest in the Gardens takes over Langley Park on Saturday 10 October, the Rhein Donau Club in Myaree runs its famous bier halls every Friday and Saturday night through October, and plenty of pubs join in between. Full event dates are listed further down this page.

Set the scene
String blue and white pennant banners across the yard, hang swirls and pretzel cutouts overhead, and anchor the space with a Welcome to Oktoberfest sign at the entrance. A harlequin backdrop makes an instant photo wall.

Dress the Bavarian table
Start with the Oktoberfest check tablecover, add light blue plates and kraft napkins, scatter Oktoberfest confetti down the middle and finish with a mini cascade centrepiece on each table.

Dress the part
Lederhosen for the gents, a dirndl for the ladies, and Bavarian hats or plaited wigs for everyone in between. Ask guests to come dressed; the costumes do half the party for you.

Stock the bier bar
Steins and a well-iced esky are the heart of it. Float a giant beer mug balloon over the bar, hand out magnetic bottle openers as favours, and keep shot cups ready for the schnapps round.

Pretzels, bratwurst and sauerkraut are the classics. Keep it simple: a barbecue going, soft pretzels from the oven, and mustard three ways.
