A corset pulls a costume together fast, and it is one of the few dress-up pieces that still earns its keep afterwards worn over jeans, a skirt or a slip dress. Our range covers classic overbust shapes, underbust corsets and wide waist cinchers, in sizes S to 3XL.

Overbust or underbust? An overbust corset covers the bust and is worn on its own, so it is the usual pick for burlesque, Moulin Rouge, vampire and gothic Halloween looks. An underbust corset or waist cincher stops below the bust and is layered over a shirt, dress or bodysuit, which makes it the easier one to wear and the natural choice for steampunk, pirate and medieval outfits.

Corset size guide

Corset sizing does not follow dress sizing. Measure your natural waist, which is the narrowest part of your torso and usually sits just above the belly button, then match it to the band below. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one: a corset that is a little loose can be laced tighter, but one that is too small cannot be let out.

• S - fits waist 65-70cm (25.5-27.5 in)
• M - fits waist 70-75cm (27.5-29.5 in)
• L - fits waist 75-80cm (29.5-31.5 in)
• XL - fits waist 80-85cm (31.5-33.5 in)
• 2XL - fits waist 85-90cm (33.5-35.5 in)
• 3XL - fits waist 90-95cm (35.5-37.5 in)

These are the supplier's own waist measurements. Not every style runs to 3XL, so check the size options on the product itself. Bust and length are not published for this range.
